27th July - Full Day Table Loom Weaving Workshop

Join Lucy at Maryfield, Banchory for a unique, relaxed, weaving workshop to create your very own custom fabric design. You will learn a number of table loom weaving techniques and structures, to gain an understanding of basic fabric construction. You will then craft a weft-based colour pattern and bring your unique design to life.
 
Working with a wide range of weft yarns and a British wool warp, prepared and ready for you to experiment with on a pre-setup 4-shaft table loom you should weave enough fabric to fashion a cowl scarf, an intricate wall hanging, or a fabric panel.

Suitable for ages 10 and up. No prior experience necessary.
